Katherine Rundell – Impossible Creatures

I am still reading “Impossible Creatures” and writing quotes for model writing. Here are a few about a creature and a bird.

“Above their heads, three birds flew, eagle-sized and fire-red, with tails a foot long.” (p.62)

Even though the text might be challenging for many Upper KS2 pupils, Katherine Rundell brilliantly delivers it and can be a fantastic example for modelling.
